AGC Inc. supplies building, automotive, and display glass, electronic materials, chemical products, ceramics, and other high-function materials to customers around the world.
The AGC Inc.’s automotive glass business holds a world leading market share in the sale of laminated and tempered glass.
AGC set mobility, electronics and life science as three strategic businesses. Keywords in the mobility fields include weight reduction, IoT and sensoring. For weight reduction, AGC will develop new materials based on glass and chemical technology. For IoT and sensoring, AGC will develop new glass that has display functions, antenna glass functions, comfort functions and compatibility with ADAS sensors for new automotive markets, electric vehicle and autonomous driving.
AGC has joined STARTUP AUTOBAHN's program to seek new disruptive ideas with startups and other corporate members.
We asked our partners why they support the STARTUP AUTOBAHN powered by Plug and Play project and what they value the most about this program.
