Faisal received a Master of Science in Mechatronics at Warsaw University of Technology in 2008, a Master of Science in Optical Design at Imperial College London in 2009 and a PhD in Biophotonics at the Technical University of Denmark in 2015. He subsequently joined Alter Technology working as the lead optomechanical designer leading several cross-disciplinary technology products from couplers to biosensors. In 2017 he joined Lumentum Inc. as Physical Design Manager and delivered first of its kind TROSA for the company. In 2019 he joined Optoscribe as Senior Product Manager working as a cross-functional technologist to build strategic cooperation, commercial engagements and market analysis based successful portfolio. With his commercial as well as technical grasp, he is working as the Principal Technology Analyst in Sony Europe from the UK. His main technology interests are integrated photonics, innovation & sustainability, micro/nano fabrication and quantum technology.
