John started his career after university, in an R&D role developing torpedoes in the UK at Marconi Space and Defence Systems. After moving to Australia, he became involved in the IT world starting in computer maintenance and then specialising in networking. Over the next 35 years he was involved in the evolution of networks from dial up and dedicated links through X.25, Frame Relay, Token Ring, FDDI, Ethernet, ATM and Wi-Fi.
John moved on to become involved in no-code S/W application development with WEM in 2018 and has quickly developed his skills to become a WEM certified developer and trainer. He has completed several WEM applications across a variety of industries, whilst also training and mentoring other WEM developers form all parts of the globe.
John lives in Sydney, Australia, where in his spare time he is heavily involved with Rugby Union, where he manages one of the senior sides in the Sydney premiership competition.
